A deliverable Net Zero plan

ERIKS UK & Ireland (“ERIKS”) is a specialised industrial service provider offering a wide range of engineering components, technical services and customisation solutions to all areas of industry.

Rawstone Consulting were engaged to help ERIKS meet the ESG expectations of their customers. Key highlights from the project include:

• EcoVadis gap analysis. Rawstone conducted an in-depth review of ERIKS’ EcoVadis submission, identifying and prioritising ten key recommendations over four themes. We complemented this with a key performance indicator Excel table to track and report ESG metrics. Less than a year later has gone from EcoVadis Bronze to Gold.

• GHG emissions measurement. Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for all relevant categories were measured in accordance with the GHG Protocol and Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi) requirements.

• Streamlined Energy and Carbon Report (SECR). Drafting of content for ERIKS’ SECR, as published in their Annual Report.

• GHG target recommendations and reduction plan. We conducted a bottom-up analysis of what GHG reductions were practical for ERIKS, coupled with a top-down review of best practice and customer target setting to come up with target recommendations and a detailed reduction plan covering scope 1, 2 and 3.

• Science-Based Target (SBT) verification. We drafted ERIKS submission to the SBT, and supported them through the verification process, guiding them through and providing answers to all the technical questions. As a result, ERIKS successfully had their near-term and Net Zero targets verified by the SBTi in March 2025.
