OPERATING SUSTAINABLY

We take pride in practicing the principles we preach. We actively understand, manage and mitigate any negative sustainability impacts arising from our operations. Further, we are committed to operating inline with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and to taking action to positively contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). More details on how we do this are set out in our Code of Conduct.

Sustainability highlights from our business include:

  • Minimum of 1% of revenue donated to charitable causes each year. In 2022 funds were donated to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, Blue Marine Foundation and Lymphoma Action.  We are also running a competition for a charity to have their carbon footprint measured and a reduction strategy developed (see terms & conditions).

  • Operationally carbon neutral, and we assist other companies to do the same [SDG 13].

  • In accordance with the SME Climate Commitment (part of the UN's Race to Zero) we are targeting Net Zero emissions by 2040, and to halve our emissions by 2030. You can read our reduction strategy to achieve this here. [SDG 13].

  • Supporter of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) [SDG 13].

  • Prompt Payment Code signatory committed to paying all suppliers within 30 days (see our Supplier Payment Guide) [SDG 8].
