Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG emissions

A corporate carbon footprint aligned to the GHG Protocol.

Measom Dryline (‘Measom’) are experts at designing, planning & delivering drylining. They are one of the leading drywall contractors in the UK and are an integral part of the construction industry. They pride themselves on collaborating with their customers to deliver the ideal solution for their projects.

With an increasing customer need for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions information, Measom approached Rawstone Consulting to measure their scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions.

Key highlights from the project include:

  • Bespoke data analysis. Measom were able to share their emissions related information in the format that their systems and processes allowed, without having to transpose anything into another system or template.

  • Project support. Weekly meetings, a live project plan, project update slide decks and a shared MS Teams space were employed to ensure regular and easy communication on the project.

  • Full transparency. GHG emissions for scope 1, 2 and 3 were calculated for all relevant emission sources in accordance with the GHG Protocol and in a fully transparent manner. Underlying data sources were filed in a shared space, all calculations were completed in Excel with full analysis audit trail, and emission factor sources were clearly defined.

  • Data implications. Along with the emission figures, a methodology document, data improvement opportunities, and target considerations were shared and discussed.

Rawstone helped us navigate the complexities of GHG emissions reporting. Making the process easy and understandable, and allowing us to take away actionable recommendations, benefiting our company, our industry and our environment.
