The Carbon Accounting Alliance (CAA) bring together carbon accounting professionals who measure and report carbon emissions, which includes software companies, consultancies, auditors, in-house sustainability managers, standards bodies and independent professionals. They collaborate on solving challenges faced by the industry, share best practice and promote the development of robust standards.

With over 2,000 members, collectively they have measured carbon footprints for over 200,000 organisations. Carbon measurement and reduction is one of the key services we provide to our clients and so we are very much aligned with their values and goals.
As a sustainability professional and Managing Director of Rawstone, becoming a member of the CAA seemed a natural fit for Caroline. She is fastidious in her approach to carbon calculations and as a recognised expert in her field was one of the first people to become an SBTi Certified Expert.
On 6th October, Caroline has been invited to moderate one of the roundtable discussions at the CAA Carbon Accounting Conference 2026 held at Senate House, London. This interactive session will explore some of the key questions and challenges facing the carbon accounting industry today, and will provide a great opportunity for open conversation, knowledge sharing, and practical insights from across the sector.
