Rawstone signs up to Pledge 1%

Pledge 1% are a global movement for corporate impact. They provide a simple, flexible framework for setting aside a percentage of staff time, product, profit, and/or equity for social impact that allows companies of all sizes and stages to have impact.  

Since their inception in 2014, over 19,000 companies including the likes of airbnb, Pinterest and Canva have taken the pledge, spanning 130 countries, and igniting three billion dollars through equity.  

At Rawstone, giving back is integrated into our DNA; we take pride in practicing the ESG principles we preach. We already make regular donations to our employee chosen charities (which for this financial year are the incredible UK Sepsis Trust, Crisis, and CALM), and even offer a charitable donation to our clients by way of a thank you for completing our customer satisfaction survey. Last year, our Founder and MD, Caroline Johnstone ran the Abdingdon Marathon, raising over £2,300 for The Pink Place who provide well-being support to women affected by cancer in and around North Hampshire.  

For us, joining the pledge is about being part of a community of like-minded peers, and a global movement that creates a greater impact than the sum of its parts. We feel that joining Pledge 1% is a great way to formalise our social impact program and show our commitment to giving back.
