Rawstone achieves SBT and SME Climate Hub scope 1 & 2 targets

In 2022 we committed to achieve a 50% reduction in our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 as part of the SME Climate Hub Commitment, this goal exceeds our verified Science-Based Target initiative goal of a 38% reduction.

Through the use of a renewable electricity tariff and switching our office heating from gas to an air source heat pump, we have far exceeded these goals, dramatically reduced our emissions and achieved a 90% reduction in just one year.

We anticipate further reductions in the next reporting year as we gain from a full year's use of the air source heat pump, and the introduction of an electric vehicle, which will reduce our scope 3 emissions.
